One Size Does Not Fit All: Individualization

Every generous act of giving, with every perfect gift, is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change.

James 1:17 (NRSVCE)
Éducation chrétienne 30 – PC: Jackie Maloney

During this past school year, Mme Maloney’s Christian Ethics 30 class learned about their #LOCCStrengths and God given talents. As a result, they had the opportunity to work with Mrs. Caralynn Gidych, Superintendent of Learning. One of Mrs. Gidych’s top five themes is #Individualization. This theme is very evident in her work with students. She sees each student as a unique person created by God. She celebrates their diversity. She sees how their differences can work to make them better. She recognizes that the path for each student might have to be different. She encourages the staff she works with to personalize learning based on the distinct needs of each individual. Thank you Mrs. Gidych for helping students to know the words of Matthew:

“Fear not, therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows.”

Matthew 10:31 (RSVCE)
